Whether the backlighting system is flashing red, green or blue, it will look like it’s flashing white due to the speed at which these flashes occur.
LCDs that feature FSD essentially flash red, green and blue colors to produce visible images. Other LCDs don’t use multicolored backlighting to produce visible images. Instead, traditional LCDs use white backlighting with red, green and blue color filters. The backlighting system produces white-colored light that passes through the appropriate filters. The end result is visible, colored images.
