Different mobile operating systems and different devices offer different screen lock solutions. In Android, for example, you can choose from either pattern, PIN or password. With a pattern, you’ll need to run your finger across the touchscreen display in a specific pattern to unlock it. With a PIN, you’ll need to enter a sequence of at least four characters to unlock the touchscreen device. With a password, on the other hand, you’ll need to enter a password to unlock the touchscreen device.
It’s important to note that screen lock isn’t supported by all touchscreen devices. Rather, it’s typically only available in touchscreen devices that run a mobile operating system.
